We are concerned about the large numbers of people who do not fully utilise their ‘Open Market Option' (OMO) to secure the best retirement income deal.  As many as 2 in every 3 retirees fail to fully explore all the options open to them1.  While a lifetime annuity is the right choice for many, potentially tens of thousands of retirees could be making the wrong retirement income choice each year...a choice they may be stuck with for the rest of their lives.

We believe this is wrong and avoidable.
